A total of 17 kilometers of slopes with guaranteed snow, toboggan runs, magnificent views, floodlit slopes, ski and snowboard schools, children's areas and ski rental shops: in Willingen, winter sports enthusiasts of all ages can enjoy the downhill runs on the Sauerland's longest slopes over two kilometers into the valley. The K1 is currently the most modern chairlift in Germany and takes you up the 1600-metre-long slope at Köhlerhagen. If you want to ski down in peace and quiet, you can use the early bird ticket from 8.30 a.m. every day. Floodlit skiing is available on Wednesdays and Fridays from 6.30 pm. Away from the slopes, ski huts guarantee a rustic atmosphere and a good time. Family-friendliness is a top priority in Willingen: ski tickets for minis up to the age of five are free of charge if accompanied by a paying adult. And 1,700 parking spaces are available to winter sports enthusiasts free of charge.
