Start at the entry point of the Ederseebahn cycle path (Wildunger Landstraße). First follow the R5 and the Ruhr-Eder GeoRadroute in the direction of Herzhausen/Edersee. At Sauren Breite, turn left along Wildunger Landstraße and take the ascent to Waldeck Berg (barbecue and rest area). Once you reach the top, follow the edge of the forest. Continue north past the beekeeping association's apiary in Korbach (with flower meadow and nature trail). On asphalt paths over the B251 and with great views to the water tank on Strother Straße. Cross this and continue along the edge of the town to the edge of Korbach's industrial area. After crossing the Arolser Landstraße, you pass the large halls of Continental AG and cycle further down into the Twistetal valley (cycle rest area) and to Berndorf (refreshment stop). Cycle past the church (Romanesque pillar basilica with fortified tower, well worth seeing) through the village (crossing the main road) and then on an ascending forest path to the Korbach mark with remains of the Landwehr (memorial stone). Continue through Strothe and on the district road to Meineringhausen (refreshment stop). Here you cross the Ederseebahn cycle path and cycle south out of the village. Cycle through the fields to the gravelled ascent to Dalwigker Holz with its historic lookout tower (with viewing platform). From here, follow the forest path northwards back to the Ederseebahn cycle path. Follow this back to the starting point.
